Some impressions from the "Yukon Arctic Ultra" trail which was held in january 2009 for the fifth year in a row. The trail follows the Yukon river along the route of the "Yukon Quest", the latter probably being the hardest sled dog race in the world. Participants in the YAU trail, however, may chose between distances of 100, 300 or 430 miles. Lestra supports them with sleeping bags made to defy the icy temperatures of canadian winter.
